Nikolic: There was no need to be nervous

Lokomotiv head coach Marko Nikolic reflects on the win against Rubin (3:1) in the Gameweek 17 of the Russian Premier League.

- I want to congratulate the team. We earned very important three points. Psychologically, the game was very difficult, especially when we conceded a goal in the second minute. But we weren't nervous, continued to play and earned three points. In three days we have an important match in the Champions League, we are preparing for it. There is still a chance to stay in Europe.

- Yes, the pitch is good. We never have any problems with the quality of the lawn. This is the last home game this year. We will play the next three games away.

- You behaved very calmly on the bench. Were you confident the team would complete the task for the game?

- I was confident that the team was well prepared for the match. It is important that not only the players on the pitch are calm, but also the bench. There was no need to be nervous.

- How would you rate Kamano's performance?

- I never publicly discuss my players. We talk about the game on the bench, in the locker room and at our training base.
