Zinnbauer: Ignatiev is a player who we use in next weeks

FC Lokomotiv Head Coach Josef Zinnbauer gave his comments in which he shared his emotions about the new transfer:

— Ignatiev is a good player, he is young. We know about his stories in the past but it’s not very interesting for us. We give him a chance. It’s a chance for the club, it’s a chance for the player. We can start by zero. He has got fantastic skills which we can use. He is a utility player and likes to play what we had to. He was a top player in his youth. Now he is a bit older, and I think that he knows mistakes he did in the past.

So, we are happy. Ignatiev is a player who we use in next weeks. Of course, he needs to work more, but it’s normal — he didn’t make a pre-season with us. He is a bit more than a week here. He has to adapt to the conditionings, he has to adapt to the playing style and playing system that we want. We’ll give him time to adapt. We are absolutely sure that Ivan will help us, he’ll come back to his skills and give us an advantage that we need.

On July 21, forward Ivan Ignatiev signed a one-year contract with Lokomotiv with the possibility of an extension for another two years.
