Zaur Khapov Back At Lokomotiv
Zaur Khapov has been appointed as Lokomotiv's new goalkeeper coach and has held his first practice today. We wish Zaur and his assistants success!

Zaur Zalimovich Khapov
Born on October 21, 1964.
Zaur Khapov spent most of his professional career with two clubs - FC Alania Vladikavkaz and FC Lokomotiv Moscow. As Alania's main goalkeeper, Khapov won the Russian League's title in 1995. He has made more than 200 appearances for the club before signing with Lokomotiv in 2000. During his five-year spell with the Railroaders Zaur helped them win the title race twice.
After hanging up his boots Zaur remained at Lokomotiv between 2005 and 2010 as the club's goalkeeper coach - with just one-year break for FC Amkar Perm. From 2012 to 2016 Mr Khapov has been employed by FC Anji Makhachkala.
