Yuriy Syomin: We made CSKA play our game

Lokomotiv head coach Yuriy Syomin has drawn conclusions from the game against CSKA and spilled the beans on Ari's injury.

- I have positive emotions after the game. I just wish Ari and Denisov were in good health. We have played three games in seven days, and the last one was the best. I am thankful to the guys for their devotion, for withholding the pressure from CSKA. We made them play our game and deserved the win.

- What was instrumental to the victory?

- The players remembered about the loss in the last season and were extremely concentrated during these two days. The game was difficult, the team were exhausted but they found the reserves that helped win.

- Was it your initial plan to play on counters?

- When you win you alway say you plan has worked. Let our plans remain inside the team. Did we attack little, after all? We had more chances than the opponents.

- Guilherme made several mistakes.

- Today Guilherme is our #1 keeper. Who will play in the next game? He who will be in the best condition by the end of the week. If Guilherme is confident of his condition, he will play.

- What's with Ari and Denisov?

- Can't say anything about Ari. It looks like a grave injury. He's out for long. Probably, he'll need a surgery. Denisov's injury is less serious.

- You shouted something to the CSKA player after Ari was hit.

- I told him he cannot tackle like this. Ari covered the ball and he couldn't get it anyway.

- How did you like Lysov as the left fullback?

- Lysov played amazingly. He made mistakes but his effectiveness outnumbers them by far.
