Russian Railways' Top Managers Meet Team
The Russian Railways head Vladimir Yakunin accompanied by the members of the board and chief executives of the company have had a meeting with Lokomotiv players. The meeting was held in the main office of JSC RZD.
The atmosphere at the meeting was informal. The participants had a conversation over tea, watched excerpts of ‘Loko’s Eighth Cup’, the movie about the team, and exchanged gifts.
Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin and other leaders of JSC RZD were keen to know how the team were doing and wished them a good season. Lokomotiv’s president Olga Smorodskaya along with the head coach Igor Cherevchenko and the midfielder Dmitry Tarasov spoke on behalf of the club.
Leaders of JSC RZD said they were happy with the club’s achievements, including those of the young players at various junior competitions. The company’s head wished the team to play beautiful and effective football and draw more spectators to the stands.
