Vedran Corluka Awarded Best Player For December Prize

Lokomotiv supporters called defender Vedran Corluka the team’s best player for December. In the poll conducted on the club’s official VK page, Corluka got 2,799 votes, or 41,1%. This is his third such award, and he has set a record: no other Lokomotiv player has yet managed to collect three Player of the Month prizes.

The tradition has it that the award is given by a supporter. This time, however, the tradition had to be broken as the team are out of the country. The pleasant mission was assigned to the Press Service before one of the training sessions in Belek. Miodrag Bozovic noted Veran’s contribution to the team’s success. The teammates applauded while the coach ironically said that there were only two games in December, so the Croatian should work it off.

Vedran Corluka thanked the fans for the support of the team, and sent a personal thank-you to everyone who voted for him.
