Turishchev: We were confident that we would get the win at the end

Lokomotiv U19 forward Maksim Turishchev scored two goals against Ufa (3:1) in Gameweek 4 of the Russian Youth League.

- It was a tough game. We wanted to rehabilitate ourselves after the defeat to Rubin. We wanted to play well, score as much as possible and show quality football. When Ufa scored an equaliser, we were confident in victory and controlled the game. The goal that we conceded meant nothing. We were confident in ourselves and knew that we would get the win at the end.

- Of course, I wanted to show a good performance. In addition to the ambitions of the team, there are also personal ones. I wanted to score, the striker must score goals.

- When was the last time you scored two goals?

- I don’t remember. This means that it needs to happen more often.
