Tarasov: We could have beaten Dynamo
The guest of #OurCherkizovoLIVE show Lokomotiv midfielder Dmitriy Tarasov summarized the game against Dynamo (1:1) of Gameweek 3 of the Russian Football Championship.
- We didn't impress early in the game. We gave the initiative to the opponent in the first half and conceded an unnecessary goal. Anyway, it only energized us. In the second half we were better and equalized, we even could have won because we had chances.
- You have been sidelined for a while, was it hard for you to play today?
- I can't say I was 100% ready. My teammates who played in the previous games were more fit. Training sessions and official games are different things. About seven minutes to the end I started having leg cramps but I understood there were no substitutions available and made myself play. I think it will be easier for me in the coming games.
- Kolomeytsev was replaced by Ndinga in defensive midfield while Miranchuk substituted Boussoufa. Everything kept changing around you - how did you feel?
- We're one team. It doesn't matter who plays with you and what language he speaks. We all understand the language of football and that's crucial.
- Did it feel nice to play home?
- Of course it did! Many fans came to support us and they did it well! We hope that's how it will be in every game. We will do our best to make them happy!
