Syomin: We gave much power and emotions in the Cup Final
Lokomotiv head coach Yuriy Syomin has drawn conclusions from the match with Anji of Gameweek 27of the Russian Premier League.
- The draw is fair. In the first half we were better, then Anji looked good. It was obvious we lacked strength in the second half. The substitutions didn't add freshness. In the second half Anji had andvantage, they made many long passes and we were failing to land the ball. Of course, we gave much power and emotions in the Cup Final. It's always difficult to demonstrate quality football after big games.
- Many supporters waited to see young talents in the lineup.
- I don't like substituting half of the team at once. In this game I fielded Mykhalyk who missed the Cup Final, Farfan started the game. Besides, we made three substitutions. You can't just sub off everyone at once.
- What did you tell Maicon and Kasaev before they came on?
- Their goal was to add movement and attacking edge, and press their opponents. Both Kasaev and Maicon had good episodes.
