Pejcinovic: We are catastrophically short of luck
Lokomotiv defender Nemanja Pejcinovic reflected on the 1:1 draw in the match against Arsenal during the Russian Premier League’s Gameweek 9.
- We could have won this one. We produced neat crosses, wing raids, set piece deliveries. But we are catastrophically short of luck these days: we play against sides that do not create much, but in every game it’s we who concede a goal. One attempt – one goal. We have to sweat more. As the international break comes along, the team will have more time to get ready for the upcoming fixtures.
- When the game was over, all Loko footballers collapsed to the ground – was it because you were so exhausted or exasperated?
- We have the grit and can play better. I believe we have to move sharper in the middle third and feed our hitmen more. We must convert. My thanks to the fans who turned up to support us. Each of them is so important for us now when Loko are being through hard times.
