Nikolic: We will do everything to get points
Lokomotiv head coach Marko Nikolic spoke about the upcoming game with Atletico in the Champions League.
- Tomorrow we will have another good and interesting game. A strong team has arrived in Moscow and Lokomotiv is familiar with it. I respect Atletico and Diego Simeone. They regularly qualify to the decisive stages of European competitions. But we have prepared well, we have our own qualities. The match against Bayern gave a lot of impressions, but didn't bring any points. Tomorrow we will try to do everything to get points. There are two games with Atletico ahead - tomorrow in Moscow and after the break in Madrid. We will do our best to get points, rather than create the impressions.
- Do you have an explanation why Lokomotiv plays so well in the Champions League and so unsuccessfully in the last matches of the Russian championship?
- Yes, but now we will not talk about it. The most important game is tomorrow, and we will talk about the Russian championship before the championship game. One of the best teams in Europe came to us. We need to concentrate on this particular match.
