Real Derby!
To the Moscow derby both teams came up with serious losses. At the Sheriff game, Gilerme and Eder were injured. CSKA had injured Golovin and disqualified Kuchaev.
After the Europa League game, the Railwaymen almost did not have time to rest, so the coaching staff held a rotation. Lysov and Tarasov sat on the bench; they were replaced by Rybus and Mikhalik. Anton Kochenkov was in goal to replace injured Guilherme - the game with CSKA Moscow was his debut for Locomotiv.
The Moscow derby gathered an impressive audience. Today was a season-record attendance of 19015 fans.
The first goal of the game was scored by Anton Miranchuk thanks to the brilliant assist from Farfan. Notably, it was Anton's first goal in Premier League.
After the goal, CSKA seized the territory and kept our defense in tension by numerous crosses. Most of them became easy prey for the defenders, but at the middle of the half our players overlooked Vitinho. The Brazilian got the ball and with the second touch sent it to the bottom corner.
And in the end of the half, Lokomotiv conceded the second goal. Dzagoev and Wernbloom imposed the struggle of Kverkvelia, Pejcinovic and Kochenkov, and Natkho watched the rebound and sent the ball into the empty net.
The second half started not that brightly for the guests. Khosonov got his second yellow card and was sent off.
On the 76th minute Vasin knocked over Fernandes at the penalty area, Lokomotiv was awarded a penalty. Unfortunately, Akinfeev saved a kick from Fernandes.
Three minutes before the end of the match, Anton Miranchuk received a pass from Kolomeytsev from the flank, immediately saw Manuel Fernandes and brought him one on one - 2:2.
