Youth Team Beats Dynamo!

On April 15, in the 23rd round of the Y-League, FC Lokomotiv faced FC Dynamo in the youth derby. The game held at the Sapsan Arena and ended with a strong-will victory of our team. The final score is 2:1. Bravo our team! Bravo Kosogorov and Larin for your goals!

The debut of the first half was marked by achievements of Dynamo youth team. At that time, Lokomotiv acted mainly on counterattacks. And in the 11th minute, our guests deservedly took the lead. After a smart pass, Yermolin, who opened well on the offside line, hit our penalty area. And he hit at close range. Nikita Matyunin brilliantly saved the situation by hitting the ball into the field. However the first to finish off was the Dynamo player Matvey Kozhin, who opend the scoring of the match: 0:1.

After that we have more than fifty minutes of playing without scoring. Only in the 63rd minute the host scored our first goal. After the protracted attack, the ball was on the left flank. Matvey Chekalin, who held the ball, decided to pass to the penalty area, where Artemy Kosogorov won the fight in the air and equalized with a kick to the right corner: 1:1! An excellent goal from the Loko central defender, who partly rehabilitated himself for a similar moment in the first half.

And in the 76th minute, our team took the lead. Denis Walter performed a magnificant pass from the right edge into the center of the penalty area. Alexei Larin, our captain, took the ball, turned around, paused a bit and shot with his left foot into the right corner. 2:1! Our team did not hide the joy of this score.

And the final result is 2:1. Loko wins a strong-willed victory in the 23rd round of the Y-League. We have two memarable goals of Kosogorov and Larin and break away from FC Dynamo by 6 points!
