Manuel Fernandes - Player of the Season!

The voting to choose the player of the season has been held on Lokomotiv's VK page, Instagram, and the official web site.

Manuel Fernandes won the nomination with landslide victory, claiming the votes of 9,073 people, or 59,1% of the turnout.
Alexey Miranchuk came second with 2,160 votes, or 14%. Marinato Guilherme stands 3rd with 925 votes, or 6%. The further list comprises Igor Denisov, Ari, Vedran Corluka, Roman Tugarev, Solomon Kverkvelia, Dmitriy Tarasov, and Vladislav Ignatyev.

A total of 15,332 people have voted.

It is remarkable that Manuel has repeated Niasse's achievement, winning four Player of the Month nominations. Besides, it was Manu who scored this season's most spectacular goal for Lokomotiv, according to the fans.

This season has become one of Manu's best so far. He has scored nine goals and made 11 assists in 26 appearances (including the Cup). In the end of the season, the Portuguese is ranking 1st in the team on almost all key indicators.
