Lokomotiv Back From Vacation
On Wednesday, June 17, Lokomotiv main squad returned from vacation and went through a planned medical check in one of the Moscow clinics.
The players who played internationally recently were absent, for they have several days-off and will join their teammates later.
Despite the short vacation the team looked fresh. Lokomotiv doctor Nikita Karlitskiy assures the players are ready to start the new season.
‘Deep medical check is done every six months to see how healthy the players are and what’s their form. At this point they feel well. Everyone’s ready for loads and future victories’.
All players are thinking about the start of the new season, and defender Nemanja Pejcinovic confirms it:
‘I spent my vacation in Serbia, and visited Montenegro. Now I’m ready to train and work well during a training camp, and have a good season. We want to play better than in the last season. We’re going to be engaged in three competitions - the Europa League, the Russian Cup, and the Premier League, but we’ll make it’.
During the summer break Lokomotiv will play several pre-season friendlies. On June 28th, the first training camp in Austria starts.
