Kochenkov: I was trying to guess where the ball would go

Lokomotiv goalkeeper Anton Kochenkov stopped a penalty kick in the game against Atletico (0:2) in round 6 of the Champions League.

- I committed a foul, I didn’t see the player on the right. There was a through pass and I thought I would be there first.

- However, you stopped the penalty kick.

- Yes, I was lucky. I guessed the ball’s direction. During the second penalty I decided to follow the kick and remained standing until the last moment.

- It seemed that in the first penalty episode you moved out of the goal a bit earlier.

- We need to see the replay. But if there would have been a foul, the referee would have ordered to have another go.
