Igor Cherevchenko: It was a difficult game
Lokomotiv head coach Igor Cherevchenko has summarized the game against Krasnodar (2:1) of Gameweek 7.
- The game proved difficult. We conceded a goal that has an immediate discouraging effect but nevertheless the guys continued playing, increased pace and soon equalized. There’s been a lot of tackles. In the second half we scored a second goal and secured a victory.
-Why did you substitute Ndinga?
- He had a back thigh cramp, so we decided to take no risks.
- No Lokomotiv player has been called up to the national team.
- I’m a wrong person to ask this question. You have to respect the decision of the national team head coach.
- Why do the majority of the Russian teams play better on the travels?
- I think because many teams find it easier to employ counter-attacking football rather than positional attacking.
