Ignatiev: Main task is to get points

Lokomotiv midfielder Vladislav Ignatiev shared his expectations for the upcoming match with Atletico in the Gameweek 4 of the Champions League group stage.

- This is not the first time Lokomotiv has played against Atletico. In the last match you got points, what is the task for this game?

- I am glad to return to this stadium. We played here many times, but didn't get any points. The number one task is to finally get points. We played well at home. We will try to take away points with us.

- Will you have enough energy for the final part?

- Even if the energy is gone, we need to find it from somewhere. The games in the championship and in the Champions League are equally important. It's a sin to complain about such schedule, you can’t do anything - you need to go out on the pitch and play.

- You returned to the position of a midfielder.

- I haven't played for a long time, but now Marko is putting me in offensive line. I'm getting used to it slowly. I like it more than defence. But wherever the coach puts me, I'm ready.

- Who do you think studied the opponent better: you or Atletico?

- We'll find out tomorrow. I am sure it’s us.
