Ignatiev: We stick to the plan!

Lokomotiv midfielder Vladislav Ignatiev shared his thoughts about the first training and instruction camp and spoke of the 2:0 bounce game against Ufa FC.

– We played well, particularly in the second half when the team had ample pace, created many chances and scored two goals. To cut a long story short, we stick to the plan. And we are coming into form.

– Would you link the second-half action to substitutions, or did the team just need more time to get going?

– I really can’t answer this. Maybe, the rival got slightly tired. But we are in good physical condition at the moment, set to fly to Austria for our second camp where the squad will continue training.

– Did you see any progress today as compared to the match with Dolgoprudniy last Sunday?

–Dolgoprudniy turned out to be an easy challenge, looking at the scoreline – we netted many balls. It gives players confidence. But the main thing is to get ready for the new campaign physically, to be in the right condition.

– Henty scores in the second successive match. Does your forward feel more self-assured now?
