Cherevchenko: Both goals are our fault
Lokomotiv head coach Igor Cherevchenko has summarized the match of Gameweek 19 of the ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Championship against Terek (1:2).
- Right now to me it looks that we lost the midfield. There was a lot of low-quality play and childish mistakes. We are going to make a profound analysis and concrete decisions.
- A young player Dmitriy Barinov appeared today. What do you think about his performance? Wasn't it too bad?
- Everybody didn't play very well today. Blaming everything on his age would be wrong. Dima played greatly at the training camp, he played well against Amkar in the Russian Cup. Barinov is young but his play is mature.
- Did the weather influence the game?
- No, the weather is pretty optimal for playing football, I'd say. The ball was fast, the players played fast to keep warm.
- Don't you think it was the weather that made Guilherme score an own goal?
- To be honest we didn't see that episode from the dugout. We saw there was a cross and it seemed to me a Terek player made the final touch.
- Did you expect the Terek fullbacks would support attack?
- Of course. I know Rashid Rakhimov. Besides, modern football advocates such play. There was nothing strange in it. As for the goals, they are both our fault. It was not Terek who won today. It was us who lost.
